Happy 18 months! (& A trip to New York)

 Katie & I traveled up to NY in the beginning of October & as you can imagine, many of the family were more than happy to snuggle...

We also took a trip out to see more of her favorite animal.  (Remember this post from February?)

 

 We went to the beach, where it was fairly chilly, but that didn't stop Katie from sticking her toes (and her bum!) in the water.

And of course, she loved the sand.

And what trip to the beach would be complete without ice cream.

While we were there, we decided to visit JC Pennys to take her 18 month pictures.  This is why you pay people to do these things.  She was MISERABLE the whole time we were there, but somehow, it's very hard to tell!

 After the visit for pictures, we decided to make her day better with another trip to the beach.  We got a few good shots there as well.

 

 

Happy 17 months!

Ok, so Katie is actually 20 months by now, but I'm still playing catch up!

Katie LOVED the water this summer. We went to Ocean City Maryland with my Dad & family & Katie loved the pool.

Though, she also loved the safe...

And the phone....

Katie will smell every flower she walks by. It's really quite cute.

She loves to carry things. So often she will pick up something she could push (like the lawnmower)

Daddy got a tractor & took Katie for a ride. yes, she has hearing protection. Actually, when you say "tractor" Katie says "vroom, vroom" & covers her ears!
